From this ground in which you stood
Together as one, like brotherhood
You fought together as you should
You brought us together as you said you would
You fought for our freedom for this land
Although some died on the enemies sand
When one was down, you lent a helping hand
When one was down, another would stand
You risked your life for our state
None of us could ever relate
To the things you went through.. the death.. the hate..
